Catherine Erker, 79, of Overland Park, KS, formerly of Mineola for 43 years, died on Aug. 2, 2004. She was a retired administrative assistant in the sports industry and at Roosevelt Raceway. She was a member of Ascension Catholic Church, AARP Chapter 2333, Senior Friends, and Brown & Gold Club. She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Joseph; daughters, Patricia Erker of Great Neck; Geraldine Erker of Leawood, KS; son,Thomas Joseph Erker of Olathe, KS; sisters, Eleanor Peterson, Frances Peterson, Florence Gionta, all of Queens; grandchildren, Ryan, Lauren, Andrew, Katie, Erin and Alex Erker, Olathe. Arrangements were made by the Heartland Cremation and Burial Society. Services at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, Olathe. Donations in Catherine's memory may be sent to a chosen charity. Charles J. Gulotta, 94, of East Williston, died on Aug. 29, 2004. Husband of the late Mary. Father of Margarite, Ceal, Charles (Christine) and Geraldine.
