Coaches and parents encouraging swimmers as they race.
On Aug. 12, the Mineola intramural swim team finished the year by participating in a competitive swim meet against Stewart Manor. Swim coaches Kat Maher, Jon Zeitchek, Meghan Wellenbrink and Kathleen Reedy worked very hard getting swimmers ready for the event and were extremely proud of the progress that all swimmers made. The final score was Stewart Manor 168, Mineola 121. This meet was a kick start to establishing a year-round swim team for Mineola. If any parent is interested in getting a competitive swim meet started, contact Barbara Stagnari.
