The Mineola Athletic Booster Club is still sponsoring a fundraiser in conjunction with The Book Shelf, 863 Willis Avenue, Albertson. The booster club is collecting your unwanted books to donate to The Book Shelf. The Booster Club will collect a percentage of the sales. Please collect any unwanted books from friends and family, too. You can drop the books at the Book Shelf (863 Willis Avenue in Albertson - #747-1888 ) - let them know you are working with the Mineola Athletic Booster Club or you can bring them to the first meeting in September.

The Mineola Athletic Booster Club plays a very important part in the success of the Mineola athletic program. Members of the booster club are also helping out to ensure that students in Mineola have the opportunity to enhance their education with athletics, teaching them the values of hard work, sportsmanship and teamwork.

Membership is open to any person with a legitimate interest in and a desire to be an organized supporter of Mineola Athletics. The Mineola Athletics Boosters Club, Inc. is a support organization dedicated to the student athletes of the Mineola School District. The organization provides scholarships for colleges and sports camps, a year end Varsity Dinner, a year end JV Awards Ceremony and a Tri-Athlete ceremony.

The Mineola Athletics Booster Club, Inc. is a not-for-profit, volunteer organization, working in conjunction with the Mineola Union Free School District and the Department of Health, Physical Education and Athletics. The purpose of the Mineola Athletics Booster Club is to support, encourage and acknowledge the endeavors of all students participating in Mineola High School Athletic programs and to provide their families with informational resources.

The Mineola Athletics Booster Club Inc., (Booster Club), provides support to the programs and activities involving Mineola Athletic students. The Booster Club's activities include fundraising, hospitality, publicity and communication with the school and the community. One of the most important functions for Booster Club is to provide a "support audience" at games.

Booster Club sponsors or participates in numerous activities to generate funds to support the Mineola Public School Athletes. The funds raised by the Booster Club go toward college and sports camp scholarships for the Mineola Public School Athletes.

Meetings are generally held on the 1st Tuesday of the month in the High School Library at 7:30 p.m.
