Thomas J. Cassidy, 84, formerly of Mineola and Delray Beach, FL, died on May 30, 2004. Retired Sgt. NYPD with 32 years of service. He was a US Army veteran of WWII, Sgt. Co. F, 32nd Armored Regiment, 3rd Armored Division. He was the recipient of the Purple Heart Oak Leaf Cluster and the Bronze Star. Beloved husband of Mary T. (nee Majeski) for 58 years. Loving father of Thomas, Robert and Francis Cassidy, Mary DeVito, Margaret Bugliari and Martha (Kelly) Redmond. Dear brother of Rita Hillin. Also survived by 13 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He will also be missed by his five sons-and daughters-in-law, 17 nephews and nieces, countless friends and loved ones.
