Elsie Hempe Hays, of the Fountains of Atco, formerly of Ocean City, died at age 91. Beloved wife of the late George R. Hays Jr. Loving mother of George R. Hayes III of Albany, GA. Devoted grandmother of Clifford Hays of Galena, KS, and great-grandmother of Hannah E. Hays, also of Galena. Dear sister of Winifred Vokoun of Mineola. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Mrs. Hays was an administrator at the Federal Aviation Administration base in Pomona. Arrangements were made by the Weigand Brothers Funeral Home, Williston Park. Funeral service at the funeral home. Interment Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Maspeth.
