Congratulations to 10-year-old Dylan Dombrowski of Williston Park, a fourth grade student at the Meadow Drive School, who recently won the New York State Kids Folkstyle Championship tournament by pinning all of his opponents in the 87-pound weight class on March 6 and 7.

Dylan has been wrestling for two years and has been so successful that he was invited to wrestle in the Teague W. Ryan Memorial Wrestling Tournament, named after Hofstra wrestling coach Tom Ryan's son. Dylan felt is was important to be a part of an event that raises money for the Teague William Ryan scholarship fund.

When he is not wrestling, Dylan enjoys horseback riding and plays PAL roller hockey.

His brother Dean, mother Maryann and father Richard are very proud of him.
