The 8th grade basketball team started the season with a record of 4-2, with strong victories over Wheatley, Cold Spring Harbor, Herricks and Carle Place.

In the 62-42 victory over Carle Place , Mike Brady scored a season high 22 points while Terry Mooney added a powerful 12 points, while John Englis added 4 points.

In a great comeback win against Herricks 46-33, Frank Thomas scored 8, T.J. Gessner scored 10, and Danny Benbow had a breakout game of 12 points.

In another well fought battle in a losing effort against Clarke, Danny scored 8 and T.J. added 9.

The team is coached by Darren Luskoff, and is very proud of all the members of the team and is impressed with the improvement since last year.
