We would like to sincerely thank the mayor, the board, the Mineola Chamber of Commerce and all who contributed to the success of Senior Recognition Day on Friday, Oct. 3.

It was an opportunity to meet people we hadn't seen in a while, to have a great meal, enjoy the marvelous entertainment and participate in a raffle that seemed to have endless prizes.

It was a true community endeavor and a reminder of how blessed we are to be part of the friendly village of Mineola.
