On behalf of me and my entire family I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the people of Mineola who showed their support in our time of grief. The numerous cards, delicious foods, beautiful flowers, and frequent visits were greatly appreciated. A special thanks to the Mineola Fire Department, the Women's Auxiliary, the Junior Fire Department, and the Ambulance Corps for the impressive procession at the wake service. No words could ever express the gratitude we felt as we watched so many of you stand in silence to pay respect to our father. You will never know how much your appearance meant to our family.

My father was a wonderful, loving, caring, and generous man who touched many people's lives. He truly loved Mineola, and took great pride in being a part of the community. Upon witnessing all the support and love given in his honor, I know he truly had a wonderful life.
