Ellen I. Kurz (nee Pastore), of Mineola, died on Sept. 5, 2003 at the age of 86. A native of Brooklyn, she was the devoted mother of Lisa Lao, Richard, Douglas and Kenneth. Loving daughter of the late Joseph and Maria Venezia. Dear sister of Norma, Octavius and Alfred. Also survived by six grandchildren, Timothy, Kristina, Jessica, Jason, Frankie and Joey. She was a member of the Williston Park Homemakers of NC, The Golden Age Club of Mineola and AARP. Mass of Christian Burial offered at Corpus Christi Church. Interment was in Holy Rood Cemetery under the direction of Park Funeral Chapels, Garden City Park.
