The officers and members of Mineola Memorial Post #349 of the American Legion gives its thanks, appreciation and gratitude to the mayor Jack Martins and board of trustees for the excellent manner in the presentation of the whole ceremony. It was well done.

Also, thanks to all those who participated in the memorial for all those people who were involved in the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks on the Twin Towers World Trade Center, the Pentagon in Washington D.C. and the Pennsylvania crashing of the third plane involved and all those who gave their lives trying to save others.

We also wish to thank all the many organizations who were terrific, the numerous politicians including Governor George Pataki and all the others who would be too numerous to mention individually.

We know you were there and all present know you were there.

We also must include the huge and wonderful ordinary everyday people who came out to show their respect and give their thanks by participating in the memorial ceremony.

Well done to all. God bless all those who perished or suffered loss of their loved ones. May they rest in peace everlasting. God bless all of you and God bless the greatest country in the world, the United States of America.

Again, our sincere and heartfelt thanks to all.

Sal Cataldo
