Arthur E. Anderson, 84, of Williston Park, died on Aug. 20, 2003. The son of Alfred and Mae (nee O'Connell), he graduated from Bushwick High School in Brooklyn and served in the US Army in India during WWII. He was the chief booking clerk at American President Line for 44 years. He was a member of St. Aidan's Parish. Husband of Mary June (nee Hickey). Father of Arthur P. and Linda E. Ward. Grandfather of Christine Tarone (Gennaro), Megan Maggio (Christopher), Virginia Ward and Michael McCloskey, Katherine Ward, Mary Lana and Alyssa.
