The officers and members of the Mineola Memorial Post #349 of the American Legion would appreciate the opportunity to thank all those people who came out on the Fourth of July to join us in a ceremony celebrating the birth of our great country.

The turnout was very good and was held at the Village Community Center and due to the extreme heat was moved inside to the meeting room that is utilized by the Veterans of Mineola for their meetings.

We thank the present village officials and also the prior village officials for providing us with a location not only for our meetings but also a location to hold ceremonies such as the one held on the Fourth of July 2003.

We would also like to notify all those who are interested in patriotic ceremonies and remembrances that we welcome one and all to join us when these occasions are held.

We should never forget our proud heritage and all those in the past, present and on into the future who sacrificed so much so that we may enjoy all that we have today and future generations to come.

God bless America and God bless us all.

God bless our armed forces.

Sal Cataldo, Commander

The Officers and Members of
