The Rummel family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to all the remarkable people who helped make the 1st annual "A Cure for Connor" Golf Outing such a huge success.

The generosity and kindness shown by the participants in the tournament, the merchants and community who supported the event through their raffle prize donations or hole sponsorship and all the friends and extended family who donated their time and efforts is greatly appreciated.

All the proceeds from the outing will be donated to Spinal Muscular Atrophy research. The Rummel family believes that a cure for Connor is within reach and hopes to see everyone next year. The family also extends a special thanks to Connor, who, through his courage and sweetness, enriches their lives and brings them unimaginable joy and reinforces their faith and goodness in the human spirit.

The Mineola Volunteer Ambulance Corps would like to thank the surrounding communities who came down to support the Cure for Connor Car Wash, which was held on May 17. The car wash was a great success thanks to the participants.

The Explorer Post 703 reminds those between the ages of 14 and 18 that they can obtain information about joining the post by calling Jerry at 250-4839 or sending an e-mail to jgarr99476@aol.com.
