The annual Mustang Party is set for Thursday, May 22 at the Cornerstone Restaurant and Bar in Mineola. The evening begins at 7 p.m. and runs until 11 p.m. Admission is $12, which includes a buffet dinner and an evening of karaoake entertainment.
Each year, Mineola High School alumnus, coach and teacher Frank Massaro stages the party to raise funds for the summer sports camp scholarships for Mineola High School student-athletes. The food will be served at 8 p.m. The evening of fun also includes a raffle, 50-50 and prizes.
The Mustang Party is open to all adults and is a perfect time to renew acquaintances with friends and sing your heart out to your favorite tunes. The party makes it possible for several student-athletes to attend camp each year. The Cornerstone is located at the corner of Jericho Turnpike and Marcellus Road in Mineola.
