The fifth grade St. Aidan's girls soccer team, coached by Tom Flynn and Tom Murphy, finished its season with an undefeated record of 7-0-1 in CYO competition, outscoring opponents 36-5. The fifth grade at St. Aidan's has over a dozen girls playing on six different travel soccer teams and the CYO League gave most of the girls an opportunity to play together with their classmates as well as with girls from other schools in the parish.

A smothering defense consisting of Kristen Flynn, Lauren Olson, Shannon Ginty, Jessica Barry, Samantha Windisch, Catherine Hoban, April Carniol never allowed more than one goal in any game. The offense was led by Allison Sloper (14 goals) and Meghan McCune and Alexa Vojvodic with six each. Erin Gaughran had three goals; Mary Henry had two while Britny Giannini, Melanie Iacavone, Lauren Olson, Samantha Windisch and Catherine Hoban had one each. Amanda Amarain, Elizabeth Morse, Michelle Murphy, Nicole Olcese and Caitlyn Wenzel assisted on many goals and played outstanding two-way soccer.
