Village of Mineola Mayor John P. Colbert, the village board and the Mineola Chamber of Commerce combined once again for the annual Senior Recognition Day, begun by the Mayor Colbert and the chamber to provide a fun-filled day of eating, reminiscing and entertainment.

Once again, the businesses and community leaders came together to provide food, drinks and prizes. There was all the pizza one could eat as well as hot dogs and desserts. Entertainment was provided by the Long Island Harmonica Club and singer Karli Bonne, who delighted the audience.

Mayor Colbert, said the tradition would continue as the community center was once again filled with residents enjoying themselves. Here are the sponsors for Senior Recognition Day:
