James G. Dunphy, 74, of Zephyrhills, FL, formerly of Albertson, died on Aug. 2, 2002. A Navy veteran of WWII, he was a retired NYS advisor for housing rehabilitation inspector and a member of Local #1 Bricklayers, Gold Card member and a member of St. Joseph's RC Church. Husband of Jean. Father of James P. Dunphy, Daniel A. Dunphy, Karen Dunphy, Christine Quirk and Carolann Varnell. Brother of John Dunphy and Joan Hanley. Grandfather of Colleen and Sean Quirk, Jeffrey Varnell and Daniel Hilton. Arrangements were made by the Kelly Memorial Funeral Home, Zephyrhills. Mass at St. Joseph's RC Church with Fr. Rose Anna Bertolotti, of Williston Park, died on Aug. 14, 2002. She was a WWII veteran serving as a US Navy nurse. She was a retired head nurse at Winthrop University Hospital Out Patient Clinic.
