Mary Albiston (nee Huysman), 86, formerly of Mineola, died in Poway, CA, July 4, 2002. Beloved wife of the late Alex (Scotty) former owner of Scotty's Esso Station, Mineola. Survivors include daughters Mary Joan (Huntington), Betty Bushman (Holtsville), Kathryn Barnwell (Escondido, CA) and Nancy Dinsmore (Loveland, CO) and brothers, George Huysman (Saranac Lake), John Huysman (Narrowsburg, NY) and Vincent Huysman (Dunnellon, FL); 12 granchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Albiston, a longtime resident of Mineola, was a member of the first graduating class of Corpus Christi School and was a graduate of Mineola High School Class of 1934.
A Memorial Mass will be said on Aug. 10 at 11:30 a.m. at Corpus Christi RC Church, Mineola. Donations can be made to Elizabeth Hospice, 159 West Crest St., Escondido, CA.
Nancy Four, a resident of East Williston for over 30 years, died on July 22, 2002. She was proprietor of Nancy's Fireside Restaurant for over 50 years. Wife of Charles H. Mother of Patricia Silber (David), Victoria Four and Jacqueline Sanders (David). Grandmother of Dylan and Avery Silber. Sister of Patricia Appel. Arrangements were made by the Weigand Bros. Kathryn (Kitty) Coffey, formerly of Williston Park, died on July 25, 2002. Wife of John R. Mother of Karen Keilitz (Richard), Linda Schoomaker (Jeff),John (Diane) and Patricia Flaherty (Thomas). Grandmother of 11. Great-grandmother of seven. Sister of Helen (Frank), John (Gladys), Jean (Harley) and Jane (Harold). Arrangements were made by the O.B. Davis Funeral Home, Port Jefferson Station.
