  • Sports: Outward Bound Proves to Be Great Experience

    The Outward Bound class offered at the high school is an educational experience like no other. It does not consist of homework and cramming for tests. Instead it requires an individual to challenge him or herself by exposing them to various adventures and situations. The quest to expand their comfort zones is done with the support of fellow classmates and assisted with educated professionals. This class is offered to Mineola High School seniors in place of a gym class. It meets every other day just like a regular gym class and requires annual field trips. FULL STORY
