Burgdord, 84, formerly of Mineola, died on Feb. 4, 2002. He attended St. Mary's College and the Catholic University in Washington, DC, where he received his degree in philosophy. He was ordained a priest on May 31, 1952 and served as a Novice Master of Fathers of Mercy in South Union, KY, a student director in Rome, Italy. He served in Brooklyn, Glasgow, Kentucky, Louisiana, Florida and Ecuador. Son of Hilton and Katherine Burgdorf. Brother of Paul and Thomas, the late Katherine and Ellen.
