The Mineola Civic Association will be holding their second "Meet the Candidates Night" on Tuesday, March 5, at Mineola Village Hall, beginning at 7 p.m.

The event will focus on the upcoming village election in which Linda Fairgrieve, Kevin Reilly and Jack Martins will be running for two seats on the Mineola Board of Trustees. Village Justice John O'Shea is also invited to appear even though he in running unopposed for his position.

The evening presents the community with an opportunity to ask specific questions of the candidates as well as afford the candidates a chance to share their positions.

The format is as follows:

* Opening statements - each candidate will be allotted three minutes.

* Question and answer - each candidate will be allotted three minutes to answer each question.

* Closing statements - each candidate will be allotted three minutes to make a closing statement.

The floor will be open to all members of the community to ask questions of the candidates.
