The Mineola-Williston Park PAL held its annual dinner for its football program where coaches, players and volunteers were recognized for another successful season.

The PAL program teaches youth the importance of teamwork and dedication as well as the fundamentals of the game. The members of the teams - Cheerleaders, coached by Megan O'Toole; 11-year-olds, coached by Bill Delventhal; 10-year-olds, coached by Bob Redmond; 9-year-olds, coached by John Seles; 8-year-olds, coached by Leo Mattina, and the 7-year-olds, coached by Anthony Amoroso - all received awards.

The guest speaker for the event was Dennis O'Sullivan, an offensive lineman for the New York Jets. The successful evening was put together by PAL president Bob Redmond.
