Bernice F. Silling, 91, of Greenup, IL, formerly of Mineola, died on Jan. 6, 2002. She was born in Annapolis, IL, on June 14, 1910. A retired elementary school teacher in Syosset, she was a member of the Presbyterian Church, Mineola, the Retired Teachers Association, University Women's Club and the Eastern Star. Daughter of the late Frank and Elsie (Wilbert) Faught. Wife of the late George. Mother of George Keith Silling and Lynne Bernice Schneck. Sister of Shirley Bancroft. Grandmother of six. Arrangements were made by the Bishop Funeral Home, Greenup. A memorial service was held on Jan. 6.
