Corpus Christi Closes in on Playoff Spot
Corpus Christi sixth grade boys basketball team went .500 over the past week as they lost another close battle in their quest to make the playoffs 22 - 19 against a feisty St. Mary Team from Manhasset. Corpus Christi had a well balanced scoring attack, as seven players made it into the scoring column with Shawn Wachter and Steven Concalves each contributing with big baskets, but it was not enough, as they lost their first game in almost a month.
