On Nov. 16 and 17, Mineola High School students went on an Outward Bound Physical Education trip that they will never forget. The students and their chaperones went to the Peec Environmental Center in Pennsylvania. Everyone slept in comfortable beds inside warm cabins. In a year that marked various anniversaries, the Corpus Christi Parish celebrated 100 years of existence. Various events including guest speakers, a luncheon and a dinner were planned by the 100th Anniversary Committee in order to mark the occasion. The Corpus Christi anniversary wasn't without some sadness though. In March, the parish's pastor Father Kenneth Winkler lost his battle with cancer. FULL STORY

The key to the success of the Corpus Christi fifth grade squad is a quick opening and a dynamic close. On Sunday the boys marched to their fourth win against one loss with a 26-17 victory over Our Lady Of Hope of Carle Place.
