Lauren Anderson and Tom Aupied were the proud recipients of the New York State Association for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance student of the year award. Lauren and Tom joined male and female award winners from each Nassau County School on Dec. 12 at the Milleridge Cottage in Jericho. This award represents excellence in physical education and a commitment to community service and extracurricular activities.
