On Sunday, Dec. 2, the noon Mass at the Corpus Christi Parish, which was co-celebrated by Bishop William Murphy and the priests of Corpus Christi, closed the parish's 100th anniversary year.

Following the Mass, a pasta luncheon, catered by La Parma restaurant, was held. Chef Dominic Gregorio and his assistant Gary Mazur donated the pasta, sauce and bread as well as their time to ensure a successful luncheon. Over 290 people were in attendance, and not only were they delighted by the food, but also by the fact that it was donated by chef Dominic and Gary. All in attendance pledged to visit La Parma soon.

Certificates of Appreciation were given by Father Batule, administrator of Corpus Christi to chef Dominic and Gary. The 100th Anniversary Committee presented Fr. Batule and the Corpus Christi parishioners a scrapbook of all the events held in 2001 for the anniversary celebration.
