Corpus Christi's fifth grade basketball squad marched to their third victory of the season with a decisive 29-18 thrashing of St. Aloysius on enemy turf in Great Neck on the eighth of December improving its record to 3-1 under Coach Mike Falotico.

Wheatley Completes Championship Season
Under the leadership of Coach Bernie Hintz, the Wheatley Boys Soccer Team completed the second most successful season in the history of the sport at Wheatley. During Coach Hintz' 30-year tenure as coach of the Wildcat Soccer program, his teams have won 10 Conference Championships, seven County titles and three Southeast Regional Championships. In 1983 Coach Hintz and the Wildcats won the New York State Class "C" Championship.
