Corpus Christi's sixth grade boys basketball team won its home opener in a hard-fought 2927 win over St. Boniface on Sunday, Nov. 25.

Great ball handling by Shatique Streater, Terry Mooney and Carmine Sarno. A strong game played at both ends of the court by Derron Anthony. John "The Pickman" Hinchcliff set at least six beautiful picks at key moments in the game. Zack Chichi tied the game with a crucial free throw. Stanley Duval made his presence known by ripping down some key defensive rebounds late in the game. Kyle Cribbin, Greg Johnson and Chris Labbate had some key assists and strong defense plays.
