Mustang Run Raises Record $22,000
The 17th Annual Mineola Mustang Run wasn't just the biggest fundraiser of the year for the village, it was the biggest Mustang Run ever in terms of the number of participants and the amount of money raised, which will benefit the Mineola Volunteer Ambulance Corps, Mineola Athletic Association, Mineola Police Athletic League, Mineola Auxiliary Police, Mineola Fire Department, Mineola Historical Society and Mineola Youth and Family Services.

Corpus Christi Fifths Split First Pair
The Corpus Christi Fifth Grade basketball team opened their CYO season by splitting their first two games of the home schedule. A defensive struggle against St. Peter resulted in a frustrating loss but was rewarded with a decisive team effort for the victory against Notre Dame on the following weekend. The team, coached by Mike Falotico, returns home to Christi Gardens on Dec. 16 at 4 p.m. versus Our Lady of Hope.
