Welcome to Tomas Evans who replaces Mr. Hai as sacristan at Corpus Christi Church. Mr. Hai was a brave man who sustained stab wounds in a struggle with a thief stealing a collection basket. Tomas, who has been in the US for 13 years, hails from Chile.

Henning and Dorothy Anderson of Glen Head like to visit Mineola once in awhile and lunch at La Cisterna. Henning recently attended the 65th reunion of the Mineola High School Class of 1935. Five graduates attended.

Most Corpus Christi parishioners were disappointed that Bob Batule was not named pastor. Most thought he had done a wonderful job as administrator. We feel that he really deserved to be pastor.
