Mary T. Keaveny, of Albertson, died on Oct. 24, 2001. Daughter of the late Michael J. Sr. and Mary Keaveny. Sister of Helen Corrigan, Michael J. Jr., John and the late Kathleen Anne Keaveny. Aunt of James Keaveny, Sean Corrigan (Barbara), Mary and Michael Corrigan. Arrangements were made by the Weigand Bros. Funeral Home. Funeral Mass at St. Aidan's RC Church. Interment Holy Rood Cemetery. Manuel Freitas, of Port Richey, FL, a long-time resident of Mineola and Syosset, died on Nov. 1, 2001. He retired as head groundskeeper of Herricks Schools. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Betty (Kehn); four sons, Joseph, Michael, Stephen and Manuel Eugene; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild.
