On a sunny Saturday morning, Oct. 13 for the fourth straight divisional game the All Stars held their opponent "Jericho Galaxy" offense in check. The All Stars scored first just two minutes into the game. Jericho Galaxy managed to tie the game 2-2 just minutes before the first half ended. In the second half, Coaches Bill Vesley and Andy Ward changed strategy enabling the All Stars to pull away with two more goals to take a 4-2 win. The All Stars midfield players Kevin Lopes, Patrick Lupfer, Anthony Marino, Connor McCann and Chris McCune all controlled their field of play with sharp passing and few headers which helped create many scoring chances for forwards Michael Anes, Elder Cancelinha, Michael Fox and Bryan Vesley, the offense were dominant and kept the pressure on. The few times that Jericho Galaxy did break through in the second half, defenders Matthew Hevron, Kevin McCann and Alex Ward stopped their efforts. Goalie Carlos Barros continued excellent plays in the goal. The All Stars are 4-0-0 in league play. Great teamwork!
