St. Aidan's CYO has announced the registration for its Intramural Basketball program will be held on Sunday, Nov. 4, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. and Wednesday, Nov. 7, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the St Aidan's gym, located at 505 Willis Avenue, corner of Willis Avenue and Lafayette Street, Williston Park.

The intramural program, which attracts over 250 participants each year, is an instructional program for girls and boys in grades first through third. The program runs for eight weeks on Saturdays and is scheduled to commence this year on Jan. 12, 2002. The registration fee of $50 per child includes a basketball shirt.

The goal of the Intramural basketball program is to help the participants develop their individual basketball skills in an enjoyable environment. The boys' and girls' programs are run separately and the children are grouped according to grade level. Coaches and assistants are needed for all grades.
