Joseph Wissler recently had an exciting summer experience as he tried out for Major League Baseball's Cincinnati Reds. Although Joseph is too young to be drafted, the scouting coaches have opened a file on him and will watch his progress.

Joe is currently a sophomore at Mineola High School. He is a member of the Mineola High School Mustangs JV baseball team. Last year, he pitched and caught for the team.

Joe was the youngest of the hopefuls at the Reds tryout, held on Aug. 28 at Palmer Field in Middletown, CT. His sister Nicole and parents Joseph and Grace accompanied him on the trip.

We wish Joseph all the best and look forward to tracking his career.
