Barron Body Works 4, Harry Katz 2
The pitching of Ryan Pratt and Anthony Morais held the hard hitting Barron's team to just one hit. Pratt has five strikeouts in three innings of work. Terry Mooney hit a long double to center to plate a run for Katz but Barron's came back to score two runs in the third. Katz scored their second run when Pratt's bunt scored a run. Barron's scored two more runs in the bottom of the fourth to take a 4-2 lead, which is how the game ended. Barron's recorded the final out while stranding two Katz runners.
June 3
Harry Katz 13, Total Security Systems 1
Katz pitcher Anthony Morais struck out 13 batters. John Englis hit an RBI double to right to give Katz a 1-0 lead. In the third Katz sent eight men to the plate. Terry Mooney's single scored two runs. Chris Lorusso then doubled to score two more. Mooney later singled in another run. Lorusso would deliver the crushing blow, a grant slam that cleared the left center field fence at field #2. Zane Kerney was 1-2 with a walk and made a nice throw into second base from left field.
June 5
Barron Body Works 4, Harry Katz 0
Terry Mooney gave up only one hit in the first three innings for Katz but Ed Proctor matched him strike for strike. In the fourth inning, Barron's broke the game open with four runs as Katz pitchers walked four batters and Katz fielders experienced a letdown. Katz pitchers though combined for 13 strikeouts and Robert Kruse played well behind the plate.
June 9
Tsontos Furs 5, Harry Katz 4
Fred Usma singled home a run in the first for Katz and Anthony Morais was cruising with six strikeouts in his first three innings of work. Zane Kerney's double in the second gave Katz a 3-0 lead. John Englis was flashing the leather for Katz at second base. However, the Brostek brothers, Chris and Kevin, combined for a run as Kevin doubled in his brother for Tsontos. Brian Greene singled in two runs and Kevin Brostek singled in another run to give Katz a 5-3 lead. Katz would add another run but ultimately couldn't catch up.

June 6
Mineola Footware squared off again with the American Legion. Mineola's Kevin Hardiman made some good plays in the field and Robby Clarkin also played well. Zachary Englis and Nico Pantelides had three solid hits. Zachary even stole a base. Jason Witt, Victoria Wresch and Timmy Bracco each hit the ball well. Matthew Stephen continues to show signs that he will be a switch hitter. Playing well for Legion was David Pepe, Brandon Lubrano and Neil Harani. Congratulations to Mineola's Michael Cerquiera and Jason Witt for making the all star team. Congratulations to Legion's Nicholas Fabiano, Neil Harani, Brandon Lubrano, Nicholas Palma and Billy Sullivan for also making the team.
