The village made the right decision when they approved the building of a CVS at the old Reese Buick site. The Reese building is getting very seedy looking and is deteriorating further as time passes. It was a rare divided vote that gave CVS the OK with the mayor joining the two hometowners Betty Conlon and Linda Fairgrieve. Voting against were Lou Santosus and Maryann Warnecke. We feel that the advantages outweigh the disadvantages. We would get rid of an eyesore and stimulate business for the nearby stores. Observing the other CVS stores in the area we don't see any serious traffic problems.
