The generosity of our residents last year was outstanding and your support for this year's food drive would be greatly appreciated.

In a prior article I mentioned that the reassessment process would begin in March which it did, however it is continuing into April.

The first step in the reassessment process is the photographing of the properties in our village. These photos, will be taken "curbside".

The Master Gardener in her presentation last week made available Cornell Cooperative Extension's "Fact Sheet" re: Spring Flowering Bulbs.

This fact sheet indicated that "when bulbs are in bloom, increase fertilizer applications (5-10-5 or 5-10-10) to two pounds per 100 square feet, which should be scratched into the upper inch of the soil. However, avoid having the fertilizer coming in contact with the bulb foliage".
