Senior Melissa Kucich of Mineola is a member of the Ithaca College gymnastics team (2-0) that currently, according to a Jan. 30 National Collegiate Gymnastics Association (NCGA) poll, is ranked number one in the nation.

Kucich has competed in all three of the Bombers meets this season. At the Brockport Invitational, which Ithaca would win, she posted a score of 8.4 in the uneven bars and took eighth place. Kucich also placed fifth in the bars against Spingfield.
