The PAL held an awards dinner on Friday, Jan. 19 to recognize all the hard work that went in to a successful football season. On hand to congratulate the players and coaches was Village of Mineola Mayor John P. Colbert, Deputy Mayor Lou Santosus and trustees Maryanne Warnecke, Elizabeth Conlon and Linda Fairgrieve. Also appearing was Nassau County Executive Thomas Gulotta. The PAL's special guest was New York Jets Offensive Lineman Jumbo Elliott, who politely signed autographs.
