Corpus Christi Boys 5th Grade Basketball Team goes into the holiday break 4-0, after beating a second St. Boniface Team 34-25. Jimmy Murtha again led all scorers with 12 points. T.J. Gessner and Tommy Flynn both followed with eight points apiece as they took turns feeding Jimmy the ball for creative assists.

Mike (Shag) Diglio was, once again, a monster under the boards and contributed to the offense with six points. Chris Brostek played his usual unselfish style of basketball as he continued to penetrate the lane only to dish the rock to one of his teammates for another easy basket.

The news around the league though is the strong bench play of Alex Lopes, Frankie Lao and Alex Garafao, who continue to improve and make Corpus Christi such a complete team.
