Village Reconvenes CVS Hearing: Traffic Study to Be Conducted
The Village of Mineola Board of Trustees reconvened a hearing last Wednesday to discuss a proposed plan that would bring in a CVS store on the current location of Reese Buick on the north side of Jericho Turnpike at Andrews Road.

Corpus Christi Keeps Rolling
Corpus Christi Boys 5th Grade Basketball Team goes into the holiday break 4-0, after beating a second St. Boniface Team 34-25. Jimmy Murtha again led all scorers with 12 points. T.J. Gessner and Tommy Flynn both followed with eight points apiece as they took turns feeding Jimmy the ball for creative assists.

Mineola High School Teams Begin Season
The Mineola High School boys varsity basketball team opened its season by splitting the first two games of the season. The season opened with the Mustangs dropping a 75-70 decision to Carey High School. Senior David Terezo led four players in double figures with 23 points in the loss.
