Thomas J. Reheuser, of Mineola, died on Aug. 2, 2000. He was born in Jamaica and attended Pascal Baylon High School. He was an engineering draftsman for the NY Telephone Co., retiring in 1992. He served in the Navy in Vietnam from 1966 to 1970 and was later in the Naval Reserve until his honorable discharge in 1981. He is survived by his companion Mary Caracciola; brother, John H. Reheuser; sisters, Virginia M. Amann, Margaret M. McGullam and Jeannette M. Reheuser; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents and a brother. Contributions can be made to St. Aidan's RC Church, 505 Willis Ave., Williston Park, NY 11596 or the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, 200 Parkway Dr. S., Hauppauge, NY 11788. Joseph Szczech, of Mineola, died on Aug. 24, 2000. Husband of Mary. Father of Joseph Jr. and Patricia Szczech. Grandfather of Charles, Ethan, Dillon and Christopher. Brother of Sophie. Arrangements were made by the Cassidy Funeral Home, Mineola. Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Hope Church. Interment St. John's Cemetery.
