Mineola played its final regular season game Firday night defeating East Williston by a score of 19-4 to finish with an impressive 11-1 record. Pitching stars were Erin O'Neill, Melissa Dadich and Melissa Stotzky, who gave up only five hits combined. Good defense was played in the field from Sarah Mooney, Michele Guido, Liz Kocienda, Melissa Stotzky, Katy Prizeman and Kaitlyn O'Neill, which contributed to holding East Williston to four runs.

Mineola's hitting attack was led by Nicole Lapin (2-3, 2 RBI), Juliet Barber, Allyson Strein, Lauren Raffetto, Liz Terezo. Caitlyn Orlando, Kristin Raffetto, Rachel Cohen and Stephanie Cifuentes provided aggressive baserunning. It added up to Mineola's 19 runs.

Mineola finished in first place and now goes on to the playoffs. It was a great season for the girls. Everyone wishes them luck in the playoffs.
