On May 20, heavy rains washed out the annual Mineola Fair. Hours of work as well as a fun-filled day was put off. Now, the Mineola Fair is back, rescheduled by the Village and the Mineola Chamber of Commerce, and it promises to be as good as ever.

The chamber and the Nassau Pops will join forces in offering the community a fun-filled event that will span both the day and evening on Saturday, July 8. The day will start at 11 a.m. and end at 10 p.m. There will still be a full day of entertainment, food, games, contests, craft vendors, non-profit organizations and business presentations with handouts, an antique car shoe and other events.

The evening entertainment will be a Broadway-type show presented by Plaza productions and the Nassau Pops Symphony Orchestra. If you are interested in being a sponsor or participant, call 248-1700.
