  • SPORTS: Registration Begins for Mineola Summer Rec.

    Now in its 12th year, Mineola's Summer Recreation Program provides fun filled activities for Mineola youth. This year a new director, Susan Skaflestad, is heading the program along with Mineola Activities Coordinator Angelo Scuccimarri. Summer activities include swimming, soccer, kickball, and wiffleball. Children entering grades two through eight are eligible to participate in this summer's program. The program begins July 5 and ends August 18. Enrollment applications can be picked up in the Mineola Village Hall, located at 155 Washington Avenue. Registration ends Friday, June 9. FULL STORY
