Last Wednesday, one of the items on the agenda of the Village of Mineola Hearings was a proposed local law amending the Municipal Code of the Incorporated Village of Mineola to provide a new section entitled "Historic Preservation." This amendment will authorize the board of trustees to designate certain properties, sites and historic places which will be subjected to regulation and preservation. FULL STORY
