On April 22, in a curfew suspended game, Nassau Chromium tied K's Auto Body 4-4. Chromium drew first blood, with Michael Granath banging in Chris Brostek in the third but K's tie it in their next at bat when T.J. Gessner drove in Greg Klein. The Chromies showed the mettle in their next time up, plating two runs to go ahead. K's came right back with three runs in the fifth, knocking the Chrome Boys pitcher out of the game. But with two outs in the last inning, the Chromers came back as Chris Labbate knocked in Nick Genduso to tie the game.

The PAL's oldest division, the Varsity, was also the most highly contested division with three teams, the Saints, the Sharks and The Panthers, finishing the regular season with identical records of 8-3-1.
