Clare Lombardi (nee Curley), of Willston Park, died on March 9, 2000. She was a longtime employee of the Roslyn Public Schools. Wife of Alfred A. Mother of Paul (Sharon) and Bruce (Carol). Grandmother of Margaret Zeng (Raymond), Patricka, Matthew, Kevin and Kathryn Lombardi. Great-grandmother of Anna and Samuel Zeng. Aunt of many nieces and nephews especially Mary Kenney. Richard S. Camp, 68, of East Williston, died on March 9, 2000. A Navy veteran, he worked in the budget and finance office of the LIRR from 1965 to 1971. Mr. Camp was a former NC Budget Director under Thomas Gulotta, Francis Purcell and the late Ralph Caso. He was named Nassau County's top money man by Caso in 1971. He retired in 1991. He then worked in the INN soup kitchen in Hicksville.
Mr. Camp was a member of St. Aidan's RC Church where he founded the Young Adults Group and was a teacher in the CCD. He was manager and past president of the East Williston Little League. He served the Special Needs Boy Scouts in NC and the Heart Fund as a fund raiser. He was also an adjunct professor of economics and budgeting at Adelphi University and C.W. Post Campus.
Husband of Eleanor (Lancellotti). Father of Rev. Steven R., William R. and Dr. Robert R. (Dr. Jodi). Brother of Loretta Matini. Also survived by nieces and nephews.
